Date: 8th June 2024 Time : 9.30am - 12.30pm Location: Ashleybank House, High Street, Langholm Ann Smith has been creating and teaching wool felting for a number of years. She has exhibited in her native Perthshire, Angus, Cumbria, The Scottish Borders and Dumfries and Galloway. At this half day wool felt workshop you will learn how to create your very own wool felt pod vessel using beautiful wool and silk fibres. You will learn to use the wet felting technique and resist method to make a small wool felt vessel. Please bring an old hand towel and a bag to put your wet towel and work into at the end of the class. This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with a little bit of experience. Minimum of 4 people and max. of 6 per workshop. The cost is £40 per person. Payment is required at time of booking to confirm you place. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. If you have any dietary requirements please let us know. All equipment and materials will be provided for the workshop. Terms & Conditions: Payment must be made at the time of booking to confirm your place. Booking must be done online via Ann Smith Art directly. Cancellation: If the event organiser has to cancel a workshop, notification will be given as soon as possible. A full refund will be given or an alternative date will be given. Cancellations of bookings by the applicant must be made no later than 14 days prior to the event start date for a full refund to be given. In the event of cancellation by the applicant within 7 days of the start date, 50% of the event charge will be refunded. No refund will be paid if participants do not turn up for a booked workshop.
