Date: Sunday 30/6/24 Time : 10am - 4.00pm Location: Ashley Bank House, High Street, Langholm, Dumfriesshire DG13 0AN Ann Smith has been creating and teaching wool felting for a number of years. She has exhibited in Perthshire, Angus, Cumbria, The Scottish Borders and Dumfries and Galloway. At this full day wool felt 'painting' workshop you will learn how to create your very own piece of art work using beautiful merino wool fibres, silk fibres and wool curls. We will work on a floral themed piece. You will learn how to use the wet felting technique, as well as a little bit of needle felting at this workshop. Bring an old bath towel and a bag to put your wet towel and work into at the end of the class. Bring your own photos for inspiration if preferred. This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with a little bit of experience. Minimum of 4 people and max. of 6 per workshop. The cost is £75 per person which includes all your materials, tutoring and a light lunch. The lunch consists of a delicious mix of freshly made sandwiches and a selection of sweet treats. Please confirm any dietary requirements at time of booking. Refreshments will be provided including tea, coffee and biscuits throughout the day.
